Nutrient reductions for completed BMPs to date total 7,404.62 lbs. nitrogen and 689.57 lbs. phosphorus per year. When fully installed, completed and approved BMPs will achieve 118% of nitrogen and 120% of phosphorus goals of 21,600 lbs. nitrogen and 2,490 lbs. phosphorus set by the District for WQIA. DCR originally desired a commitment of 11,744 lbs. nitrogen and 1,191 lbs. phosphorus. The district voluntarily increased its commitment to the current goals. The district will accomplish reductions of 217% nitrogen and 252% phosphorus based upon the original tributary strategy.
